A SHORT AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF THE FOUNDER OF INTERNET CHRISTIAN CHURCH AND HIS VISION FOR THE CHURCH.
Greetings Dear Child of God:
Welcome to Internet Christian Church! I am so happy to have you as a member of our steadily growing and exciting, world-wide Christian ministry. My name is Rick Domaschk. My last name is a German name and is pronounced like (Doe'Mask) with the accent on the Doe. To remember it better, just picture a deer or a doe wearing a mask. That makes it a little easier to remember. I was born March 7, 1949 to two Christian parents in the city of Port Arthur, Texas. When I was the age of 5, my parents moved the family 100 miles away to the city of Houston, Texas, USA. After high school I attended college at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. I then enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserves and served 2 years of active duty. I spent my first year in Vietnam during the war in the year 1971. I worked in the ship's office in the Navy and encountered my first experiences in counseling. I lived in southern California for about 4 years, then the state of Colorado for 21 years and I relocated to northwestern Washington state in the year 1998. I am married with no children. I have been a trucker for 38 years, 30 of which took me to all 48 states on the mainland of the U.S. I was raised and confirmed in the Lutheran Church and later joined an Assembly of God church and a couple of nondenominational churches. My favorite preachers tend to be mostly from the Southern Baptist tradition although I love listening to them all when they stick to good solid Biblical Christian doctrine. In the early 1990s I was strongly inspired by the Holy Spirit to begin writing sermons. I wasn't sure what plans the Lord had for my life but He filled my heart and mind with His knowledge and I put it on paper. I wrote for several years and shelved the writings. About a year after I shelved the writings, the Lord spoke to my heart and compelled me to record many of my written sermons onto cassette tapes. I recorded my sermons and distributed them all across America as I traveled on my job. I witnessed to lost and brokenhearted men and women I met along the way. I consoled many of them and tried my best to give them hope that can only be found in our Lord Jesus. Before I left them, I would give them one of my teachings that would help them to learn more about the Lord. I knew I would never see them again but I wanted the seeds I had planted to continue to grow through the Word of God. In November of 2005 the Holy Spirit was once again, calling me very strongly to build an internet church that would bring His children together from all over the world. Working toward the unification of the Body of Christ was the Lord's plan for me. I founded Internet Christian Church that November and made a decision not to “REDISCOVER THE WHEEL”. By that I mean that there were already many Christian websites on the internet. God's children had already collected an enormous amount of information and published it to websites around the world. The first part of my mission was to search and find the best of available information and bring it in to the storehouse. I wanted one place where the best of Christian resources could be found. Next, I set my goal to unite the Body of Christ through the church that was being built by the Lord through me. I want the church to be a place where new ministries can get their start for no money whatsoever. I want to feature and link to the writings and music of any Christian who is a member of our church. I want the church to be a place that encourages the start-up of new ministries. The website and the work of this church will never cease. Internet Christian Church will add many other features to the ministry in the years to come. As my new ministry began at Internet Christian Church, I (for the most part) discontinued the “one on one” pastoring and evangelizing that I used to do. I spend most of the time of which I am not traveling, building the church website, publishing my daily diary and comments or communicating with members all over the globe. I have Christian brothers and sisters on every continent in the world and serving them has become my joy, my love and my passion. My job at Internet Christian Church has many facets. I am availabe to be your pastor, counselor, friend and brother in Christ. I want to offer you good solid Biblically based Christian teachings and share the knowledge God has given me. In closing, I would love to hear from you and I look forward to developing a long and lasting, honest and pure friendship with you. Now, shall we love one another as Christ Jesus has loved us?
